Why Live When You Can Rule? Being a film fanatic there is nothing better than stumbling across a fantastic film. One of these is The Kings Of Summer. I watched it thanks to the availability on Amazon Prime Instant Video. I love a good quirky coming-of-age film. But if someone described this film to me, I'd probably turn away. It's about three teenage boys who, fed up with their previous lives, run away and build a house in the woods. An odd concept, but the story is fantastic. Starring Nick Robinson, Gabriel Basso, and Moisés Arias as the three boys, they 'fend for themselves' and learn to grow into men. The beginning and the beginning of the end are the weaker parts, the beginning when trying to find reasons for the teens to run away, they're not particularly great reasons, but very typical teenage ones. It's what we've been waiting for, a long time coming! I love it! Considering it has such little information released for the film, and I surprised, but in a good way. The white balloony character seems hilarious and sweet and the young boy has such a great manga/japanese style to him it looks like the animation could have a fantastic style. I can't believe in the UK we have to wait until February! I hope we've got another Disney hit on our hands. What are your thoughts?

We Accept The Love We Think We Deserve Today, I stumbled across possibly the best film I have seen so far this year. It is definitely going into my top 10 favourite ever. It is The Perks Of Being A Wallflower . The story of a boy, who is the titular wallflower. Shy, keeps himself to himself, quietly grieving the loss of his friend who committed suicide within the last year, and more that is revealed throughout the film. The Boy, Charlie played by Logan Lerman, finds himself engrossed into a beautiful friendship amongst fellow misfits, predominantly Emma Watson's Sam, and Ezra Miller's Patrick. The two of them have similarly difficult backgrounds. Patrick is in a secret gay relationship with a jock style popular kid and has to keep it secret, whilst Sam had a promiscuous past and suffered from her first kiss at eleven years old with her dad's boss. Here's my top 3 most anticipated films of May 2014: Pompeii What is it about?   A slave-turned-gladiator finds himself in a race against time to save his true love, who has been betrothed to a corrupt Roman Senator. As Mount Vesuvius erupts, he must fight to save his beloved as Pompeii crumbles around him. When is it released?  Friday 2nd May Why I'm looking forward to it?  This film has so many things going for it; a major spectacle, a tragic love story (that may not have been successfully revealed through the marketing) and based on a historical event that has always interested me. I am hoping there is an equal blend of romance, disaster and action in this to be a success. It unfortunately flopped in the USA grossing just $23million, and performed even worse in Italy, but I'm hoping that is just bad release dates. This weekend is a Harry Potter Marathon. I'm on Goblet of Fire. This is how exciting my life is this week. In other news, I didn't realise my car wasn't MOTd or taxed so I'm not driving at the moment, and I've had a shitty week.

It's that time of year again where I come up with my New Years Resolutions. I completed 2 of last years (once again) but that doesn't matter because 10. Overcome My Illness was one of them, and I am so much better! This year I am going to be much more prepared thanks to some inspiration from my friend Joanne. I am going to track my progress every week to make sure I keep up with each resolution. 2014 is going to be my year.  Wish me Luck! TizRheaD

So today was the first day of our 16mm drama shoot, and it went surprisingly well! We have an awesome crew who all have worked so hard and two great actors which have brought the script to a new level. I am very happy with the work we'e all put in and it's finally starting to come together. I am however, ridiculously tired because I'm still not sleeping and starting to have long working days. Even when the filming is over, I still have producer stuff to do, and to look after my actors. Just cooked so much pasta for lunch tomorrow as well! ARRGHHH! Favourite Movie So Far It has to be the latest one, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1. It has the best acting in it from all of them so far, and brilliantly combined comedy with all the action. The only thing I would have wanted was a bit more of the Malfoys.
