The Gay Carter & The Father That Should Be
The Carters have been a brilliant addition to the square on EastEnders, their drama, amongst others have invigorated the show, and by the way, I think they're doing an amazing job.
But something they're doing particularly well with, is showing the world just what a father should be. Danny Dyer, a man who you expect to be a proper East End man who would throw a gay son out onto the streets (something I would have expected my own father to do) is actually appearing to be a brilliant role model as the perfect father.
The scenes where Johnny came out to his father, the emotions, was beautiful. A perfect father and son moment, and the true acceptance Johnny received was marvellous to watch. It was such a touching moment in television, and refreshing to not have a non-accepting father.
In fact this whole story had been dealt with great sensitivity, and has been great to watch. Good Job EastEnders and Dominic! Let's hope it stays this good!
