Last Day Of 2011 & New Years Resolutions

Image
31st December... How 2011 has flown past! Seems like only yesterday I was happy in 2010. With the worst year nearly over I'm looking forward to making 2012 my year. It starts by the very difficult return to university and I believe the first month will be the hardest. But after January I should be able to get back on my feet. So here's my new years resolutions for 2012...Yes most of them are the same as 2011, but considering I failed them it's time for a new attempt. I'm going to print these out and put them in my room and remember every day what I need to do.  I also need to add 9. Be a Nicer person. I can fight this.

A Bad Year

Image
2011 has been the worst year for me. Sadness, heartbreak, car-crashes, betrayal, abandonment and stress, it's not been the kindest to me. And the end of the year has been the worst. I won't be remembering this Christmas fondly, though it'll never leave my mind. I'm hoping for a good 2012, I mean, it is the Queen's Jubilee year, so it has to be. Doesn't it? Here's a picture of the last time I felt truly well; January. Let's start the new year with a new job and a new car, and a successful edit of Jack Union: Ab Initio

My 2011

Something you will never forget about 2011 Meeting so many more amazing people, especially starting at Vue again in the summer.  Relationship(s) Well, my relationship with Melissa Coneeley ended in February and things have been pretty dead since. I'm going to die alone and unhappy. The best day Probably Ram's Sluts and Suits party day, that was pretty fun. I had an amazing night. Either that or St Patricks, or just one of the evenings chilling on Tomb Raider, or Jack's nintendo... Things like that. The worst day Too many have been bad this year, but the worst would probably have to be the day someone totalled my car. The most memorable moment To be honest, I don't think there's much I'll forget about 2011, but I hope the moments I remember the most are the one's where my friends have been there for me, and I've truly cherished that. Your best friend(s) Jolly, Beth, Leanne, Melly, Sara & Sean from university. And Abbie, Sarah and

Family & Friends at Christmas Time

So, A Hogwarts Christmas was a complete success, and I had a good day for the first time in God knows how long, and it was genuine. The Christmas dinner was delicious and the present giving was great fun. It was really nice to actually be able to smile for once. I put in so much effort for that day and it paid off, but I wasn't the person who put the most effort in I believe. But now we come to today. This week has been a bloody difficult week to get through. I haven't been to work this weekend after feeling awful. I haven't been able to do any work, and it's been a great big deal just actually being able to get out of bed. It took so much effort to get up, and shower yesterday, and then I even managed to clean some of the house. Nicholas Jolly has been the best friend through this week, and I really am grateful. Things did perk up with Beth came over last night but I crashed significantly after she left. My Sister Dani's coming over for the next couple of

Festivities & Production

This week is a busy week. What with producing the 16mm, conduction my research methods, getting sponsorship for the distribution project, doctors appointments, general life ness and sorting out tomorrow; A Hogwarts Christmas Yes, our flat is going to have our own Christmas day, The Yule log is made, the presents are under the tree, and the Turkey is about to start defrosting. I'm going to make sure everyone has a nice day, even if it kills me. Even if I do feel the way I do. I also need to make sure I see some specific people before I go home, make sure we hang out and do presents and cards and whatever!

Downton Abbey Christmas Special

Image
As much as I'm looking forward to Downton's Christmas special (which I am ridiculously excited for) I'm going to miss Sybill not being in it. (She's not in the photo anyway) I am ridiculously excited for it though. I am so excited for this show. I love this... This Christmas Special is literally what I'm living for.

A Hogwarts Christmas

This is our flat decorated for Christmas... I'm trying to get in the Christmas spirit but it's not working too well. Especially after what has been the darkest/worst weekend I think I've ever had. Oh well, by the end of the week loads of deadlines will be over and I can start thinking about the next ones.

Chinese Lanterns

So, today has been a rather odd day. We had a successful day filming, in particular a time lapse of Salisbury Town Centre. I'm really proud of the camera work I have performed because I've been able to do it all myself, and it really looks quite good! Me and Beth have worked well together as a director/camera team! I then put up the Christmas Decorations in the flat with Melissa, Jolly & Leanne. It was really nice to make the place look festive and also spend time with Leanne who I haven't really hung out with much the past week or so. Then we decided to set of our Chinese Lanterns. I was really looking forward to these as I wanted them to mean something. I was debating on whether to put a message or a bad though on them so that they could raise into the air and the message could burn away, but I thought of it more symbolically instead. I'd have a bit of a downer before we decorated so this was a kind of, yeah, stupid thing. Anyway, neither of my lante
