We Accept The Love We Think We Deserve Today, I stumbled across possibly the best film I have seen so far this year. It is definitely going into my top 10 favourite ever. It is The Perks Of Being A Wallflower . The story of a boy, who is the titular wallflower. Shy, keeps himself to himself, quietly grieving the loss of his friend who committed suicide within the last year, and more that is revealed throughout the film. The Boy, Charlie played by Logan Lerman, finds himself engrossed into a beautiful friendship amongst fellow misfits, predominantly Emma Watson's Sam, and Ezra Miller's Patrick. The two of them have similarly difficult backgrounds. Patrick is in a secret gay relationship with a jock style popular kid and has to keep it secret, whilst Sam had a promiscuous past and suffered from her first kiss at eleven years old with her dad's boss. Really starting to get into the summer blockbusters this month! Here's my top 3 most anticipated films of May 2014: Pompeii What is it about?   A slave-turned-gladiator finds himself in a race against time to save his true love, who has been betrothed to a corrupt Roman Senator. As Mount Vesuvius erupts, he must fight to save his beloved as Pompeii crumbles around him. When is it released?  Friday 2nd May Why I'm looking forward to it?  This film has so many things going for it; a major spectacle, a tragic love story (that may not have been successfully revealed through the marketing) and based on a historical event that has always interested me. I am hoping there is an equal blend of romance, disaster and action in this to be a success. It unfortunately flopped in the USA grossing just $23million, and performed even worse in Italy, but I'm hoping that is just bad release dates. 30 Day Grey's Anatomy Challenge: Most Underrated Character Teddy Altman I think Grey's Anatomy is notorious for underusing some great characters, Hahn, Lexie, April, Reed Adamson and the very unusual Heather Brooks, but none so more than Teddy Altman. She has great potential and fire in herself, and her relationship with Cristina was great, and even with Owen. But then they decided to just have her become desperate for a man. I think she could have been a great continued member, particularly with Cristina, a new relationship that Owen has, new interns and being a moral compass for that bitch Arizona. It would have also been nice to develop the relationship between herself and Meredith. 30 Day Grey's Anatomy Challenge: The Character You'd Most Want As Your Doctor Jackson Avery. This one was difficult, I was choosing between Jackson, Callie, Izzie, Lexie, Derek and Mark. I think they're the best at looking after the people, whilst also being great in surgery too. I selfishly thought, If I was in for a long time, who would I want to see come in most. That didn't narrow it down either, there is a lot of eye candy. So I just made a snap decision of Jackson, and every morning I'd spill my orange juice and porridge on his clothes so he'd have to take them off. Whoops! 30 Day Grey's Anatomy Challenge: Saddest Death George O'Malley's 007 George O'Malley's death was sad for so many reasons. The first being that he deserved something so much more. His disappearance of the episode did seem to sudden for me. And the extra sadness was he used one of his most embarrassing moments as an identifier of who he was. So sad. I cried a lot when he went. 30 Day Grey's Anatomy Challenge: Favourite Season Finale Season 6, Episode 23/24: Sanctuary/Death And All His Friends My favourite Finale (SO FAR) has to be the season 6 finale. I think this is the episode where Grey's TRANSFORMED into an even more amazing series. I think there are many great episodes but the acting in this is by far the best. The most hard hitting scene is when Meredith miscarries and still fights on. 30 Day Grey's Anatomy Challenge: The Character You Miss The Most Izzie Stevens Grey's Anatomy's Izzie Stevens was one of the greatest characters, and one that left the biggest hole when she left. There seemed to be so much more to her character, and she was so entertaining. COME BACK. Also just to mention, George was a close second. This is a poem that I wrote around this time in 2012, when things were at one of the lowest points I've ever encountered. It is about how I felt from being bullied at school to when I began to grow up afterwards. Everyone always said to rise above it because you're the better person, it took me far too long to realise why. Take this advice from someone who’s been bullied their whole childhood The knife, the drugs, the alcohol, don’t do any good All the things they did are not taken away It’s all a game to them and they expect you to play Some people say that they are insecure That they have unresolved feelings, still too raw But we know it’s not true, those of us who have suffered They’ve a thirst to prove they’re the ones that a tougher Good or bad doesn’t come into it in the end Because you’ll always find they’re the ones with more friends But here’s a thought, to help you survive You’re stronger than them from your own experiences in life

30 Day Grey's Anatomy Challenge: A Scene That Made You Cry He's Gone - Cristina Yang finds Burke has left for good. How can anyone expect me to not cry when Cristina Yang breaks down?
