30 Day Grey's Anatomy Challenge: Favourite Friendship - Day 3

Image
30 Day Grey's Anatomy Challenge: Favourite Friendship Meredith & Cristina Cristina & Meredith So I think the reason this is my favourite friendship is because it's so similar to my kind of friendships. My best Friend Abbie is my person, When Anisha & I have issues, we tend to block each other out for a bit, Lucy & I love to drink! Nick gets past my dark and twisty Tyler and helps resolve those issues. The list could go on because I have so many great friends in my life! In short…This is the perfect friendship as it's a blend of all my best friends… Also, a notable shout-out had to be Sloan & Torres, as well as George & Izzy pre-falling-in-love. 30 Day Grey's Anatomy Challenge: Favourite Female Character - Day 2

Image
30 Day Grey's Anatomy Challenge: Favourite Female Character Cristina Yang Cristina Yang I think Cristina Yang is the best character of the show. She's funny, witty, dramatic… I could keep on using all these different words, but they wouldn't even do it justice. A Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital without Yang is not a place I want to see.

I am The Voice UK's 5th Judge & This Is My Team

Image
Some great talent has been lost this year on The Voice UK, so here's my team of 12 from those who didn't get picked; 1 Tara Lewis: L-O-V-E 2 Tara Lewis: You Make My Dreams Come True 3 Ryan Green: Don't Go 4 Bob Blakely: Cry Me A River 5 Miles Anthony: I Who Have Nothing 6 Andy Otley: Dance With Me Tonight 7 Paul Black: Jump 8 Lucy Winter: Somebody To Love 9 Jolan: Beneath You're Beautiful Jolan was one of the singers that the show made a point of looks get you nowhere, but it's not his looks that were great, it was his voice. 10 Yinka Williams: Paris (Ooh La La) Yinka was the same as above. Used as a ploy to make the audience believe looks get you no where, when it is more likely that they thought they were older or not as good looking. 11 Aaliyah Dickes: Read All About It 12 Joe West: Mirrors

30 Day Grey's Anatomy Challenge: Favourite Male Character - Day 1

Image
30 Day Grey's Anatomy Challenge: Favourite Male Character Jackson Avery Jackson Avery This was actually quite a difficult decision. As there are so many flawed men in the show. Derek Shepherd is a little too self-absorbed, though I do love Patrick Dempsey. Owen & Richard are just too angry all the time, and Mark Sloan annoyed me when it came to his daughter. Jackson Avery is the only male Grey's Anatomy member that has yet to piss me off. He's funny, good looking, clever and determined.  Also must mention, I do really like Shane, but he hasn't had enough of an impact with only being in one season as a recurring, and half a season as a regular. Jack Union: Ab Initio Synopsis

Image
Jack Union: AB Initio by Tyler O'Connor Every so often you'll hear me mention writing Jack Union: Ab Initio. I have kept this project quite under the wraps. I'm not going to reveal much, but here is the quick synopsis that can also be found on my Facebook page TizRheaD UK; There are many things in this world that can turn your life upside down, and never has there been anyone that has had so many of them happen in such a short time as Jack Union. Jack was just an ordinary student at Hearts school, with ordinary friends, ordinary home, and just like many, a bully who made his life hell. His family was fragmented ever since his father died, or the man he thought was his father. Fiona Comitis has been hiding things from Jack ever since she took him in, including why she took him in, who his real parents are, and perhaps the most important and shocking of all, his magical abilities in a world of wizardry and fantasy, all hidden from the perimortal world. My Most Anticipated Films: March 2014

Image
Here's my top 3 most anticipated films of March 2014: The Grand Budapest Hotel What is it about?   Wes Anderson's THE GRAND BUDAPEST HOTEL recounts the adventures of Gustave H, a legendary concierge at a famous European hotel between the wars, and Zero Moustafa, the lobby boy who becomes his most trusted friend. When is it released? Friday 7th March Why I'm looking forward to it? The trailer looks hilarious, a real British and slight dark humour. It's boasts a great cast including Ralph Fiennes (with a nose), Edward Norton, Jude Law, Tilda Swinton, and Willem Defoe just to name a few! Captain America: The Winter Soldier What is it about?   Two years after the events of  The Avengers,   Steve Rogers  resides peacefully in Washington, D.C., struggling to adapt to contemporary society. However, after a  S.H.I.E.L.D.  compatriot is assailed, Rogers becomes entangled in a mystery that may endanger the globe. Together with  Natasha Romanoff , Captain Americ

The Hunger Games & The Empty Stomach

I've been feeling really poorly over the past couple of days, meaning today I just couldn't handle it, and had to call in sick. I've spent the day feeling sorry for myself and trying to get better. However, I did also manage to finally watch The Hunger Games and all I can say is. Wow! I was impressed. Such a great film with perfect acting and a wonderful story. That's all your getting from me today. Needs sleep and rest to try and get better for tomorrow's hard day of work.

I think I am Meredith Grey

Since watching Grey's Anatomy, I've definitely found myself with striking similarities with some of the characters, mainly the lack of emotion when it comes to others that I share with Yang. However, after reading back on some of my blog posts, I've realised I may have become Meredith Grey. Exhibit A (Season 1) Nice Happy Meredith For this blog seems to be the first few posts, mainly showing I'm flakey and not really focussed on much. Examples: http://tizrhead.blogspot.co.uk/2009/01/make-me-remember.html http://tizrhead.blogspot.co.uk/2009/02/here-i-go-again.html Exhibit B (Seasons 2-5) Dark & Twisted Meredith This is where things got bad. I found myself knocked into the sea after saving lives at a ferryboat and didn't try and swim to the surface. A.K.A Things got bad. The Voice UK is Broken

Image
The Voice UK The Voice UK it's on it's third season and everyone seems to be raving about how much better it is this year with new coaches and new presenters. I disagree. The Voice has changed, and not for the better. It's close to becoming the same drivel as X-Factor. So firstly, it's forgetting the one thing that made the show stand out above all the other talent shows. It's supposed to be about The Voice! The judges seem to have forgotten this, and countless times turn their chairs and don't turn because of assumptions they make on what the appearance is going to be. I am sick of seeing those faces of Will.I.Am, Kylie, Tom & Ricky as they looked so surprised that something could look like they do and produce such a great voice. It also makes their excuses of why they didn't turn pathetic and frustrating. What contestant wants to hear 'I should've turned but I didn't.' They judges need to just listen and not think about the

My Silly Valentine

OK, It's official, I work for the best company to work for. Previously in the last four four and a half months I've worked there, we've had champagne about five times, an iPad for a Christmas present (and a Christmas jumper), an epic Christmas party in Leeds that included staying in the Malmaison, drinks at the SkyLounge (in the Hilton Hotel), champagne on a boat and then a meal and party in a Teepee before a hilarious night out in Leeds, where I just so happened to meet up and party with fellow J-Kitch fan Sara. And not only does the job have some great opportunities to grow and learn, and I'm getting huge responsibilities that I can run with, I've also become project manager for Contributing To The Community. With this, I can do things to help those less fortunate. We recently raised £70 for the British Heart Foundation on their Ramp Up The Red day last Friday. And we've got a lot more planned to raise awareness, money and help others. This Valentines d
