Who Killed Lucy Beale? Suspects 10-6
It's the final ten! part 8 of our suspect list. I don't care that EastEnders has their so called 'official suspect list' after the new year episodes. I still think they're decoys (Lois, Decoys).
10. Ben Mitchell
The gay bad boy who's trying not to be gay. He's got form, obviously, as we know with Heather. He was nearby at the time and he and Jay had her purse and phone. He reckons he just picked it up but that doesn't ring true at all really does it. He's trying to cover up something (other than his love of cock) but is it Lucy's murder?
9. Rainie Cross
Rainie could easily be where the Beale twins were getting the drugs from, as she herself has been a drug addict. She used the situation of Ian shagging her as a way to blackmail, and a desperate addict can do crazy things. She's a nasty piece of work and I wouldn't put anything past her.
8. Jay Brown
Jay, as you'll find out later on, alongside Ben is unusually close to this case. They've hidden Lucy's belongings, and Jay's burned his clothes. He was on the same bus but claims he was trying to rob a store. Could it be Jay's time for a new hard hitting storyline? I reckon it could be, but it does seem odd that Jay and Lucy had nothing to do with each other until after she was dead.
7. Lucy Beale
Could Lucy have commit suicide? Could it have been the drugs? The Cause of Death was trauma to the head but it could be from the fight she had with Max where she fell to the floor.
It would be a shame if they did all these build ups and clues for it to just be from that injury.

6. Max Branning
Max Branning must have something going on down there because I simply don't understand how someone with that face can get women like Stacey, Tanya, and of course, Lucy Beale. The affair was horrific to say the least. What was she thinking? He got very angry and caused her head injury when she ended things with him so already it could accidentally be his fault. All evidence of the scuffle the night Lucy died was erased, and we still don't know the truth about his whereabouts. And there was just before Emma's death, the 'it wasn't there' stuff and he destroyed all her evidence! Covering up maybe, but I am also hopeful he did do it so he can leave.
